DAV’s HIMANSHU MALIK BECOMES ‘VIGYAN-PUTRA’
‘Vigyan-Ghar’, inspired by BIG BOSS was inaugurated by Honourable Minister Mr. Manoj Kumar Pandey on 15TH june 2015 at Translam Academy, Mawana Road, Meerut.
Vigyan-Ghar, the world’s first reality science show aimed to analyse our youth’s talent. The project was based on two important considerations namely, popularization of original science work and bringing children from different parts of the country together to realize their attest scientific talent in them.
To meet this, students from different states having the best scientific achievement in a state or at the National Level, in the age group of 14 to 18 yrs were kept in the home for ten days.
Their scientific knowledge was enhanced by providing them rich library, laboratory and the ICT facilities along with guidelines from expert scientists of different scientific fields. During this period, the child –scientists were assessed on different parameters. 20 participants from 9 different states participated in the reality show.
Himanshu Malik os DAVM Public School emerged victorious and was honoured with the title of ‘VIGYAN-PUTRA’. Heartiest Congratulations to Himanshu, his family, guide-teacher Mrs. Geeta Dahiya and above all, the Principal Mr. V.K.Mittal under whose guidance the endeavour was undertaken.
