DAV, Sonepat organized an ‘Alumni Meet’ on 13th Jan 2018. The event saw an impressive gathering of alumni who first played a soccer match with existing soccer team of the school. It was followed by a formal welcome by the principal Mr. V. K. Mittal. A fun game was organized which gave an opportunity to the alumni to introduce themselves and share their fond memories of the school. Vikas Dahiya, the goalkeeper of the Indian Hockey Team and also an Olympian along with Ashish Malik, a national level soccer player added charm to the gathering. The alumni enjoyed interacting with the principal, their fellow mates, seniors, juniors and teachers. A few teachers addressed the gathering and tried to motivate them to join such events in future as well. The event concluded with ‘Lohri Celebration’ in the ground where all sang and danced together.
