Innovative and aesthetic green building was designed to trap the solar energy and uses the energy resources in a constructive way to delay the energy crises and also find new methods of using and conserving Energy resources. Mainly, the Solar energy was utilized to meet the demands of the building. The heat of the ground was utilized and also to generate electricity the friction produced by the passing vehicle over the speed breaker was utilized. The same was exhibited at regional level in Gurgaon on 21-23 Jan 2015. Nearly 95 schools participated under the same theme “Energy Resource and their conservation” and they were shortlisted for the nationals. The efforts of the students were highly acknowledged by the judges and the audience for the same.
Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), organized its annual fest, Maestros 2015, from 2nd Feb – 4th Feb at their campus. The mega event proved to be an excellent platform to display of talent in Group dance, Hindi & English Declamation and Science exhibition (Live projects). Our students participated in all the events and emerged as winners.
- In science exhibition: - 1st and 2nd prizes were bagged by our students.
• Green Building stood First.
• Self help in waste management stood second.
- In Hindi Declamation: - Shweta if 10th- Ruby stood second followed by Namrata of 9th- Diamond standing Third. The won Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 respectively.
- In Group dance: - Group of Yakshita, Vanshika, Prachi, Nikita, Mansi, Monika, Yashita and Isha participated and stood First winning Rs.5000.
- GIET Science Carnival, 2015: - Gateway institute of Engineering and technology organized a Science Carnival on 6th Feb 2015, out of 19 projects our model “Innovative and aesthetic Green Building” got 1st position and won Rs. 11000 as prize.
