DAV Multipurpose School organized Google Web Ranger Workshop in their campus by Google India Web Rangers Team on March 9,2016. More than 20 schools from sonepat participated in this workshop. Worthy Principal Mr. V.K.Mittal addressed the participants and told students about how technology is changing in the world and it is now the need of hour to be online. But while online we should follow cyber ethics. The Resource person from Google gives information about cyber crimes, managing your digital footprint and how to become safe online. She advised students how to cope with cyber bullying. Students enjoyed a lot by participating in different activities like quiz and poster or slogan making on phishing. Students from different schools have give certificates of Google Web Ranger and they all assured to fulfill the responsibilities of a Web Ranger that they will promote the Safe use of Internet.
